Layla's Trust Aims and Objectives

Layla's Trust aims to offer an additional layer of emotional, financial or practical support for families who are suffering bereavement; in cases where a child has died, has a terminal illness or has a life limiting condition where premature death is inevitable. Layla's Trust hopes to support respite services for children, to allow families to take a break from being full time carers and provide bereavement counselling where needed.

Our long term aspirations are to generate substancial funds to facilitate 'Layla's Lodge' retreat on the Isle of Wight. This would be a holiday retreat for families with terminally ill or serverely disabled children who require specialist accommodation, or as respite care under trained medical supervision and carers. We have a long way to go before we can reach our dream.
