About Layla Mae

Layla Mae suffered from the rare genetic condition that affects 1 in 100,000 babies. Her case was extremely severe and her 70 day short life was prodominantly spent at St. Mary's hospital on the Isle of Wight.
Whilst not many people had the privilege of meeting her, she has had a profound effect on everyone who has heard her story. She was and will forever be a very special person who came into our lives for the shortest time, but will stay with us forever.
